About the Artist
Manuel di Chiara graduated from the SS. Apostles of Naples and then continue their studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. His journey continues alternating commissioned works at exhibition events at national and international art galleries. His painting is oriented between the neopop and an "industrial" style inspired by the work of twentieth-century American and North European artists.
Urban painting
The leitmotif of his works, all made almost entirely of acrylic, is the urban theme. The series focus on the representation of different subjects, but that always belong to the same universe, the city. The colors are bright, the decisive stretch and the representation of the details is meticulous, to sometimes seem almost photographic. His subjects range from cars, urban landscapes, cargo ships. It is a modern painting that fits perfectly into the contemporary artistic context.
